FAQs
Quick answers to common support questions.
-
Why can’t I import a video?
Make sure Video Compressor has access to Photos or Files, and confirm the selected item is a supported video file. If the file still won’t import, try another video to see whether the issue is file-specific.
-
Why did compression fail?
Some videos or export settings may not be compatible with every preset. Try a different quality mode, or use the app’s balanced preset for a more reliable export path.
-
Where are compressed videos saved?
They are stored locally in the app’s history and can also be saved to Photos if you enable that option or tap Save to Photos after compression.
-
Does the app upload my video?
No. Compression happens locally on your iPhone. Your video is not uploaded to a server.
-
How do I clear old files?
Open Settings and use Delete temporary files to remove history and cached outputs from the device.
